The KOMAS 15029 toggle latch with swivel eye is a robust lever-operated closing component designed for repeatedly joining and securing two parts. It can be used on transport cases, boxes, lids, hatches, trailer drop sides, service openings and technical covers.

After the latch is closed, the rotating swivel eye can be moved into the secured position. This helps prevent unintended lever release. The eye can also accept a suitable padlock for additional protection against unauthorised opening.

Installation and use

Install the latch body on the fixed part of the assembly. A separate hook or other suitable catch is installed on the moving part, such as a lid, door or drop side. Before final fastening, align both parts so the latch closes smoothly without twisting or side loading.
